Senior Project Manager Oxfordrshire Salary: £70000 - £ 75000 per annum + company flexi benefits Job Ref: NM 56414 A Senior Project Manager is required to work within the Infrastructure Sector. Suitable Project Managers will have a proven track record in providing leadership and support on key projects. The successful Senior Project Manager must have experience of Big Civils for Residential projects including Roads, Sewage etc. The ideal Project Manager will have a background from a consultancy or one of the top Residential / Housing companies. With a minimum of at least 10 years relevant experience. Responsibilities -Responsible for planning and managing the delivery of infrastructure projects *Leading project teams in the delivery of client requirements from inception to completion Setting up and delivery of best practice PM systems and controls *Work on their own initiative, with minimal supervision *Leading service delivery with existing key clients, maintaining and strengthening the client relationships, using opportunities to cross-sell *Gain the confidence of the client and become the focal point for communication *Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner, meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients forming a strong working relationship in true partnership *To ensure consistency of service delivery and to identify opportunities for developing both the quality and profitability of the service *To ensure that control procedures are in place and adhered to in all areas of the business To assist in the production of management information required by the company and to take responsibility for the accuracy of said information *Assist in providing best practice and continuous improvement within delivery teams Skills / Experience Required *Substantial Project Management experience within infrastructure environment preferably Chartered status / CEng, with at least 10 years relevant working experience. *Strong track record in Project Management and Contract Administration *High level of knowledge and proven experience of managing infrastructure / civils projects *Knowledge of fundamental Project Management systems and procedures in the construction industry *In depth knowledge of different construction processes *A forward-thinking approach to the management of clients and projects *Ability to delivery quality outcomes under time pressures *Experience and working knowledge of NEC ECC forms of contract *Proven track record of acting as Project Manager under NEC ECC forms of contract * Recognised Degree in a related discipline * Professional Qualified i.e. Chartered Engineer / CEng To apply for this opportunity or to find out about other white collar construction opportunities please call Niall Maughan at Project Resource Ltd or email n.maughan@project-resource.co.uk Keywords: Senior Project Manager / Project Manager / Contracts Manager / Construction Manager / Civils / Drainage / Residential / Civil / Housing / CEng / Chartered / Roads / Sewage / Civil /
